Maha Arogya Shibir was conducted by Pawana Hospital in association with Shri. Laxman Bhau Jagtap(MLA PCMC) which proved to be a boon for more than 25000 patients all over Maharashtra.Pawana Hospital had participated with comprehensive team of Doctors, Nurses, Paramedical Staff
This was a pioneering camp where Pawana Hospital screened more than 5000 cardiac patients by renowned cardiologist Dr. Rajiv Sethi and Physician Dr. Mahesh Jadhav, identified patients with ischemic heart disease and performed 40 angiographies free of cost. Out of this we performed 20 angioplasties and 6 coronary Bypass surgeries at zero cost under RGJAY Scheme . Hospital also identified patients with Prostatomegaly (BPH) and Spine disc prolapse which were surgically treated.Another feather in the crown of this camp success was that more than 600 hearing aids were distributed to patients of hearing loss. Our CSR wing started their activity calendar of this year from the holy n sacred place Vittal Hospital ,Pandharpur. Cardiac screening camp which got a huge response wherein more than 900 patients were benefited. Needy patients were offered Angiography and Angioplasty at much discounted rate.

Mrs. Revati Mani (COO Pawana Hospital) anchored the CME, while Dr. Pratik Wadhokar gave the introductory welcome note which was followed by talks by our eminent speakers. More than 100 doctors and consultants from various areas and various medical disciplines attended the CME . The CME proved to be a grand success due to active participation of doctors and valuable updates from the speakers. Dr. Varsha Wadhokar (Executive Director Pawana Hospital) gave the vote of thanks which concluded the CME.
